First some befores. Minor amounts of swirling and other marring in the paint. Initial condition was certainly better than before the previous detail, proving that Opti-Coat, even on super soft clear, helps minimise wash-induced marring.

I have no idea what this was but I assume it may have been caused by the myriad of people who have worked on this car over the past fifteen months

The bonnet had had some more serious issues which the owner at one stage needed to try to walk back. However even Amigo on the rotary with a light pad caused hologramming and swirling in this clear. I can't emphasize enough just how soft and sensitive to heat this paint is. Especially on the bonnet, which is aluminium and has very different heat dispersing characteristics to steel.

The new front bumper needed a fair bit of work, having had holograms installed in it at the time of fitting. There were also some less than impressive scratches crazily-patterned in it. Some visible in this pic in the top left hand corner near the edge of where the bumper meets the bonnet. I can only assume these happened during the fitting process.

50/50 of the driver's side door and rear quarter. This was during the first stage of paint correction

You can see that the first stage finished down reasonably well, though there was still some ever-so-slight hazing left behind which could only be picked up by the halides or high-powered LEDs (it's visible here in this pic. I managed to capture it, which was reasonably difficult in itself)

The hazing was pretty much undetectable from any further than about 30cm away though

Final Pics after the second stage of correction and Opti-Coat.
