It frankly looked a bit flat when it arrived. The metallic was murky due to a fair amount of pre-sale glaze. The owner was a bit disappointed in the colour, having taken a bit of a gamble with it. It had no pop whatsoever and there was zero depth to the paint. I suggested that maybe he should hold off judgement until it's had a decent decontamination wash, correction and has been coated. Here is the car as presented.

After a decontamination wash and getting rid of the hideous glaze, the car was already starting to look a lot better. There weren't a huge amount of issues in the paint overall, but the glaze did its best to hide them. Under the inspection lights there was nowhere to hide though. Here are some befores and afters.

Having done a few now, Tesla paint is quite nice to work with. Euro levels of hardness but without going overboard. It also lower than average orange peel levels, so gloss and reflectivity look awesome when it's well corrected

Sanding marks from the factory

More spot sanding marks

The tail lights had a fair amount of scratching on them for such a new car

Final Pics. Great clarity now in the clear, allowing the metallic to sing through.

Clear and crisp! The way it should be.
