2014 Tesla Model S P85+ Signature Edition – Signature Red

DESCRIPTION
This is one of the first consumer-owned Teslas to hit our shores. It is a “Signature” Edition, built as a limited run model made available to those who put money down very early on a Tesla here in Aus.
The Signature Red paint is only available in this limited run. It is stunning too as can be seen in the final pics.
Here is the Tesla as delivered. By the time I got it it had been on the road less than a week. It was trucked down from Sydney to it’s Melbourne owner having been used as the show car for the launch of the Sydney Tesla dealership the week prior.

After a wash and clay here are some befores and afters. Mostly light stuff. Some waterspotting on the top panels as well as on the panoramic roof glass. There was also some scratching here and there from the demo duties at the Sydney Launch. There was also a consistent haze across the car, most likely owed to previous detailing and not finishing down the paint as well as it could have been. Bonnet
Roof
The panoramic glass still had some water spotting even after claying, so it was given a light correction also
Doors
I wasn't quite sure what these marks were on the passenger rear door, but they definitely required a reasonable amount of correction to remove
Final Pics. This was a two stage correction and finished off with two layers of Opti-Coat Pro+
The gloss and depth of the well-corrected Signature Red is almost deep enough to dive into!
I also brought in a professional photographer to take a few pics. Paul Jakubicki, in addition to being a great photographer is also a mad-keen car enthusiast.
