Befores and afters. It was clear that the car hadn't had a decent detail for a very long time.

There were a couple of these areas on the car that looked almost like scourer marks. They took a little work to get out but I managed to shift them

A good example of the general haze across the whole car that impeded the clarity and view of the metallic paint a fair bit. The car overall looked washed out as a result.

Another of those "scourer" marks

The bonnet took several hours and multiple stages to get it to the point I was happy with it. I felt less like a detailer and more like an archaeologist, digging through years of damage to get to the good stuff underneath

Evidence of a previous partial detail at some stage with buffer trails on the guards. Most likely as a result of some refinishing work

Very bad etching on the bonnet. Knowing I had good paint levels and the current owner was never going to let it get this way again I was able to be more aggressive than I normally would and chased them out completely.
