DESCRIPTION
This is the latest BMW 1M to grace the Garage. It is a country car which has seen some highway miles, as well as the odd stone chip here and there unfortunately.

Pre wash

The paint inspection showed heavy amounts of swirling across most of the car. Paint depths fortunately were quite healthy, being in the 160 micron region. This would be a three stage correction to get it up to acceptable standards before any coating was applied
50/50 after two passes with wool on the rotary

Clearing off the heavy marring and turning the car from grey to black again

The exhaust tips were heavily stained with baked on dirt and exhaust gasses. They required over an hour of polishing to get back to good condition

The tyres also got a proper clean
