Interesting reading and definitely makes you look at this bike with a certain awe.

This paint is called "Mirror Coated Black" and is a chrome shadow style paint. As the name implies it is basically a mirror finish. The paint itself was very soft and finicky to work with, requiring some fairly serious residue control (stopping and wiping the pad clean after every pass), as well as a very light touch in both pressure and pad/polish combo.

Whilst there isn't as much painted area as a car, the correction alone still took the better part of seven hours to achieve a result I was happy with

The titanium exhaust was lightly polished to remove oxidation but leave the patina and characteristic heat blueing behind
