DESCRIPTION
This one came to me a few weeks ago. It is a limited edition Kawasaki Ninja H2. It’s a supercharged 1000cc road bike built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries to take on and beat the Hyabusa.
It is currently the fastest factory production road bike in the world.
An imposing beast with some impressive stats/features:
– Displacement of 998cc. Forced induction via supercharger
– 238kg curb weight
– 200hp (147kw)
– 140nm torque at 10,000rpm
– Six speed dog box transmission
– Adjustable suspension
– Three mode traction control
– Launch control

This paint is called "Mirror Coated Black" and is a chrome shadow style paint. As the name implies it is basically a mirror finish. The paint itself was very soft and finicky to work with, requiring some fairly serious residue control (stopping and wiping the pad clean after every pass), as well as a very light touch in both pressure and pad/polish combo.
Whilst there isn't as much painted area as a car, the correction alone still took the better part of seven hours to achieve a result I was happy with

The titanium exhaust was lightly polished to remove oxidation but leave the patina and characteristic heat blueing behind
