DESCRIPTION
This is one very special little car. I had immense fun working on this.
The owner of this little beast stayed and watched the wash/decon process as well as coming back the following day to see much of the correction and all of the coating process. It’s great to have owners take such an interest in the process and also gain a great understanding of the work involved. He drove away know exactly where his money went and being very satisfied about it.

Befores and Afters. Fairly standard very hard Lotus Paint. A two stage correction was performed. Two layers of Opti-Coat Pro+ to finish
Taillights were also polished and inner indicator rings cleaned

Final result
The front bonnet clamshell was covered in paint protection film. This was also polished to remove haze and make the overall look much sharper, thereby better fitting in with the rest of the car
Closeup of the extremely subtle metallic flake. It is pretty much unnoticeable under all but direct metal halide lighting. Even sunlight doesn't show it
Black grille in the bonnet clamshell got a couple of touch ups from stone chips
It's funny how these are quite small defects hard to capture in picture though they stand out a fair bit from a distance
The lettering on the tyres was also cleaned up
