Here's the car prior to commencement of work. A lot of country mileage

Being a country car the front was fairly heavily pitted and chipped from stones etc. The owner was well aware that only a respray would fix this.

The Revozport carbon fibre duckbill was also corrected. Initially it was quite hazy, probably having been that way from the finishing at the factory. It was corrected, however the gelcoated carbon had a wave to it that meant part of the weave would present as consistent high spots. Fairly common for aftermarket carbon parts but only fixable by sanding back the gelcoat and clear-coating/sanding flat. Most people don't tend to bother with this unless they're painting the carbon body-colour. It hasn't affected the clarity much though as you will see in later pics

Befores and Afters of the paint correction process. This received a two stage correction for most of it, with some sections of the bonnet requiring sectional use of wool on the rotary to remove/minimise some deep scratches

As you would have no doubt noticed by now, the car has some large vinyl GT stripes extending the entire length of the car. These were badly weathered and waterspotted, so they were very lightly corrected to remove as much of this as possible. With vinyl of this nature you will get some transfer when correcting it. If you are too aggressive you will remove all the pigment from the vinyl and strip it down to it's original base colour (usually white). Great care and caution is needed at all times.

50/50. The bottom section has been corrected.

Resulting in a much darker, more even stripe. As it would have been when originally installed

Final Pics.

Beautiful clarity in the carbon now

The taillights got a full correction of course. Now scratch free and much glossier, including the surrounds
