Like all modern turbo cars the GTR runs very rich. Even moreso if it is tuned and running 98 RON (as opposed to E85). This GTR has had some tuning and most of the time runs E85 however there have been times when 98 RON has been used and it invariably ended up spitting a lot of deposits out the back. These black spots (deposits) made it past the wash and decon phase and had to be removed by hand with naptha based spirits

The areas above the exhaust pipes have been vinyl wrapped to give a nice contrast. Unfortunately these had suffered also and were also in need of cleaning up

On to the correction. The white pearl paint on these GTRs is normally much harder than the darker solid colours (blacks and reds).

Black plastics were their usual soft composition.

Moderate swirling, varying across the car

In some parts the swirling was quite light

Other parts it was quite substantial

The headlights were also corrected

The area behind the rear license plate got a good going over. The ugly rub line from the previous large license plate was also minimised substantially

Deep scratches on the rear bar

Badges cleaned up

Previous polish/wax residue removed from trim

The exhausts were thoroughly cleaned. Heavy carbon deposits were polished away
